Jeff Hare is running for a seat on the five member Cornelius Board of Commissioners. The Board is charged with making decisions regarding finances (taxation and spending), land use including parks and residential and commercial development, transportation and infrastructure, and public safety, among other things. Qualifications to meet the responsibilities of the elected office include:
- 10 year resident of Cornelius with three school age children
- Local business owner (Windward Capital Group)
- 20 year career in finance and real estate
- Global experience in management and financial markets providing an international perspective on the challenges of the 21st century
- B.A. in Economics from the Whittemore School at the University of
New Hampshire and Master of International Management degree from Thunderbird (top ranked international business MBA program).
